The brand "Angela" born in 1976 when the young Giampietro Verdecchia succeeded his father Gino in the little artisan shop downstairs. The main target of the young Giampietro was to create classic woman shoes using craftsmanlike methods, almost ancient. Today we still have some phases of production that are handmade. The craftmanlike of the product, exclusively made in italy, is a basic factor of the Angela's products. From the cutting of leathers to the stitching of the upper, every procedure is minutely controlled by expert hands of the masters of shoes. Already in the 80's the "Angela" shoes acquire considerable fame, firs of all in the national market due to the style classic, sober and rigorous. These factors induce the young Giampetro to enlarge the family shop and to create a little firm called "Calzaturificio Angela"
In the 90's come the first international success: the entrepreneur Giampietro reach to expose his creations in the most prestigious international markets like: Milan, Paris, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Las Vegas. At the end of 90's, through and deep study of the market and through the collaboration of some of the best stylists in the area, "Calzaturificio Angela" realize a particular kind of sole like a wave that gains immediately a great success in the international market This transform the little shoe factory in a firm with more than 20 operatives and a capacity to produce about 100.000 pairs of shoes in one year. In the 2001 the brand "Angela" is incorporated in the firm "ITALTREND S.r.l." established by Giampietro Verdecchia and the son Italo, who want to continue the production of shoes in "Angela" style. Our target is to continue to realize products that born thanks to the deep devotion in this work, to the passion for the shoes and the fashion.
