At the beginning of our idea was the Russian Walenki boot, a felt shoe which is produced in a process which is centuries old. Inspired by this, our vision grew of designing a shoe which was somewhat different and thus to create a very new look.
The ZDAR boot was born!
The concept is based essentially on the natural characteristics of wool. Wool felt is an unbelievably resistant, sturdy and highly insulating material which in addition has the characteristic of absorbing 30% of the moisture without feeling damp. Our felt is an extensively walked, highly dense felt which is produced in Germany with the highest quality requirements. It of course consists of 100% pure wool. This unique characteristics of the wool guarantees dryness and warmth for the feet. The material is deliberately only colored on the outer surface, so that the natural self cleaning abilities, the breathability as well as the natural impregnation with animal fats is not influenced.
We have newly defined the Walenki. Trendy, relaxing and uncomplicated.
Produced from 100% natural felt, with a thickness of approx 10 mm, hand produced and with a natural rubber sole in which a hemp tissue is woven into, it unifies the most pleasant wearing comfort with the casual style.
It comes for women and men, in various color variations and for women also in two shaft heights.
